  • Description: While Science Osmosis itself is a broken concept, because it is not based on the actual reasearch of the one you receive from, it is also absolutely broken. It triggers without reason every turn. I was at around 6k fame, my neighour at around 3-4k fame. I got my religion into him, it was his state religion, my culture was literally everywhere 100% on everything.  I make around 1400 research, he does 250. He gets every single round around 800-1500 research. it grows and grows aand grows, eventually he is technologically more advanced than i am. And i am producing the most science of all players. I got the most fame, the relgion and culture lead. Now for the fun part:
He somehow lost his capital, the one getting osmosis every goddamn turn, and barbarians took it over. I took it from the barbarians and from now on i am the one getting never ending osmosis. Roughly around the amount of science i am making, mostly higher. I stopped playing when i got 4k research as a german and 4k osmosis every turn. It never stopped. There seems to be a trigger or check missing.
  • Steps to Reproduce: See description above. Just trigger osmosis with a much weaker civ, it never stops. It keeps getting more and more ridiculous until the small guy is more advanced than the nation actually researching stuff.
  • Expected Behavior: Osmosis should not be every turn. It should not make the receiver more powerful in research than the one they receive it from. It needs to stop at some point, especially if the most powerful civ takes over that osmosis city.

Hello!

Have you by any chance captured the city in which the Osmosis event appear from an other empire, even if it has many turns before?

Moreover, in order for us to fully investigate this issue we need the following:

- Your last two auto-saves, and any other saves you think may help show the problem. Your saves are by default located:

o PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Save Files

o Mac: This is hidden in the Libraries folder. You will need to do an internet search to find specific steps for your OS. Once the libraries folder is revealed, they are in /library/ application support/humankind/Save Files

Thank you for taking the time to send us this report.
