Even the last few files can help. If you launch the game it will create new files, so then you can select only those relatives to that session, which you can easily do by ordering them by creation time.

Any news on this topic? It has been one week and I still cannot play Humankind on my steam Deck =\ same problem as described on this post, it will not go any further 50% -75% when loading a new game

On our end, the game is running fine on steam deck. Can you confirm that you did the update and the game version is 1.0.19.3556 ?
