so i use to play humankind all the time but stopped for a bit. i recently just bought a new gpu(from nividia to amd) and thought lets play that game again with a friend but when i opened it up the game loaded fine but the menu was gone. it was just my character staring at me, movement and all with the music but couldn't click anything. i also checked task manager and my gpu(7900xt) was running at 80%. when i tried to look it up i found no solutions from anyone and couldnt tell if it was the game or gpu. could i please get some help and sorry for any typos ive been at this for a bit.

  1. Check for Updates: Make sure your game is up to date with the latest patches and updates. Developers often release fixes for bugs in their games.

  2. Verify Game Files: If you're playing Humankind through a platform like Steam, you can verify the integrity of the game files. Right-click on the game in your Steam library, go to "Properties," then the "Local Files" tab, and click "Verify Integrity of Game Files."

  3. Restart the Game: Sometimes, restarting the game can help resolve temporary glitches and issues.

  4. Disable Mods: If you're using any mods, try disabling them to see if the issue persists. Mods can sometimes cause conflicts that lead to unexpected behavior.

  5. Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause graphical glitches and issues in games.

  6. Submit a Bug Report: If the issue continues to persist, consider submitting a bug report to Amplitude Studios, the developers of Humankind. They may be able to provide assistance or incorporate a fix in a future update.

  7. Community Resources: Visit the official Humankind forums or community spaces to see if other players have experienced the same issue and if there are any known workarounds.

  8. Reinstall: If none of the above steps work, you might need to uninstall and then reinstall the game. Make sure to back up any save files or important data before doing so.

Remember that game-specific issues can vary, and the game's developers are often the best source of assistance for resolving these types of problems. Providing them with detailed information about the issue you're encountering will help them diagnose and address the problem more effectively.
