I think for better emersion, players should be able to create their own custom AI avatars, and not rely on downloading strangers. This would help players add avatars of friends or family that don't play Humankind (or historical and fictional characters) and allow players to add a more robust storytelling/roleplaying element to the game.  


Also players should be able to create multiple avatars for their own personal use, adding to the storytelling/roleplaying element. It would be nice to have a library of custom avatars that players could choose between at the start of a game.
