I support the idea and propose a similar one. The player who makes the first move can get a big advantage if he moves the squad to the cell where the enemy reinforcements are located. Reinforcements are blocked and cannot be brought into battle. I propose at the planning stage to give players the opportunity to withdraw reinforcements from the battlefield. If reinforcements cannot be withdrawn in this way (the terrain does not allow or there is not enough movement of the detachment), then always enter such detachments into battle and occupy a cage for them. If the first reinforcement unit is destroyed, the next unit will be put in its place immediately. If new reinforcements enter the battlefield during the battle, immediately allow players to enter or withdraw reinforcements. If the technology (organization of the troops) has not been studied and if the player has left reinforcements in the battlefield, enter such reinforcements into battles in defensive mode. These units will not be able to attack and move to other cells.

 I think it would be logical.
