It seems to me that in Humankind the trading quarters are the weakest in the game relative to other quarters. In most cases, it is more profitable to build more production or other type of quarters. I propose to make shopping districts important trading hubs through which all trade will go. In order to buy one resource, you will need to have one free trading quarter. The selected quarter will be linked to the selected resource and will be the place where the trade path of the selected resource ends. I think this will increase the value of shopping quarters and balance the game when choosing quarters.
