Turn Based Strategy Mode

I recall Civ5 having "Simultaneous" vs "Sequential" turn orders. I think it could have AI players play first (simultaneously), then all the humans play simultaneously.

If playing Simultaneously in multiplayer with humans and AIs, the game would switch to Sequential if war is declared.

I assume this is what you mean by "true turn-based-strategy"

Yes, please. It is irritating that the AI will effectively always go first, especially on big maps where you cannot see the whole empire.
