Would greatly appreciate more accessibility options for text readability in the UI.
For mild vision impairment - the fine, white text over transparent overlays are a problem.
The tooltips are better but the text is still too fine.
There are a couple things that could be implemented to help for accessibility:
- giving alternative typefaces to substitute. Otherwise adjustable text weight/size.
- allowing the adjustment of panel transparency in the UI.
- if dynamic adjustment is too big a task, a high contrast mode with the info on solid, dark colors under a clear font.
Most of all, being able to scale up the UI above 100% is necessary. Both for supporting weird monitor resolutions and for visibility. Even if the Screen gets crowded the UI can be toggled while navigating.
I'm sure it would help many people! We don't care if it's not as pretty so long as we can play. I love the game and would play more but I end up squinting myself into a headache or misreading important details.
Thank you!
If examples are needed, the HUD with city info top center is particularily bad as are the left panels in the Culture/Religion screens.
