I still think that Oblivion was a bit more realistic, etc due to first-person-view and more realistic darkness

(in Skyrim you need mods for real darkness smiley: biggrin )

To be fair Morrowind IS an incredibly old game in terms of 3D evolution. It looks a lot better in the Oblivion or even Skyrim engine smiley: smile

Yep, it was pretty good 3D for it's age!

i think everyone did that coz as already said the mq is a "bit" to short

and not only the mq was to short also the faction quest was way to short

i never felt like the archmage doing just such a few quest for them

Indeed - I'm super Thief-Archmage-Warrior - i did all these faction quests with my "warrior" (1h mace + shield, heavy armor, etc)

Neither of them are anywhere near as good as morrowind was smiley: frown Morrowind story / lore / atmosphere kills both of them. Skyrim is better than oblivion though at least. Oblivion was like I just took a stroll down the road into the fields of the irish countryside. Morrowind felt alien. Shivering isles was much closer to what I wanted. Both oblivion and skyrim had terrible UI, first thing I had to change. Very disappointed with skyrim graphics, expected it to blow me away, not look 3 years old. Modded the hell out it, looks pretty decent now. Shocked it wasnt dx11

i must say both are epic, but the factions and mainquests are in oblivion way better than in skyrim

of course skyrim has its advantages but to conclude i have to say that oblivion is the better RPG
