Someone can always decline. This could be asked every 10 turns or so to not have it spam on every turn. Then there can still be gameplay to backstab the alliance.




Apologies for bringing back an old thread, but I feel very strongly to give support to this idea. It seems like a great idea.

I think it would be really neat if teams were implemented where teams had to be same faction and shared the main quest - resource rewards got split between the team members and tech awards went to everyone. It would be kind of like each player was acting as a municipality in a larger Federal system. The theme has a bit of failure for Cultists, but this sort of idea seems consistent with the unique spin that Amplitude puts out.
