^^ This is a point I forgot to mention, and wish I had



Scorpions are the coolest bug on the planet. I would definitely want an entire race of scorpions in the game, even though they are Arachnids. So if an Arachnid faction were to go in the game, I think Scorpions would be a good middle ground.

I was stung by a Scorpion as a young kid. Ruined a whole summer for me with the recovery.

Umm, that's definitely not a thread for me since I LOVE spiders smiley: redface

I love watching these adorable little fellas. And watching them grow. And then going like "hey, this tiny spider looks exactly the same as that big one I've been watching for a few months! Maybe they're a family! Awww <3 "

Fun fact - there's actually a spider above my monitor right now. I guess he came to check on me. Or he's just curious wtf is this giant blur in the distance.





That said, I understand why someone with a phobia would make this thread... if that counts for anything smiley: ohh

lol, +1 But my scorpion was probably quite young since it didn't take long for me to recover. And I still like scorpions because I'm a weirdo :3

Why not both? If there are spiders or spider factions, make them optional, just like the pirates in Endless Space.

Well, come to think of it there was a particular species of Spider on Tor...



So It might be unavoidable. But I think they would make good "pirates" too, since a gang of human sized spiders would really be terrifying to a population.



Just hopefully not showing the spiders in graphic detail in the game?
