Several friends had talked him up so I finally gave in and picked it up and I'm really enjoying it so far. I'll definitely check out some of this others after this.

I'm just about to kick off Richard Calder's Malignos. I do quite like that fellow. Very strange, dank and intoxicating tales.

LOL Alderbranch... I finished my reread of WoT about 10 monthes ago, due to foolish little me thinking Sanderson would hold his original deadline for a memory of light.... Still half a year waiting.

What I am reading right now ...

A Rising Thunder (latest David Weber, Honor Harrington Series)

The Spirit Ring (Lois Mc Master Bujold), a reread, but didn't touch it for at least 15 years and the first time was in french, this time it is original.

Next on my list... many and not so much time, of course.... but .... The last "Dies the Fire" (S.M.Stirling), The Wise Man's Fear (Patrick Rothfuss, number 2 of the Kingkiller's Trilogy), probably one or 2 books about economics (half work-related alas)...

And in between reading a bit of Kipling's poetry.

Besides tht, praying that G.R.R. Martin doesn't need 5 years to produce another book as I would really, really like to finish this series.

Well too many books to read, not enough time and I need my beauty sleep to boot. Well, let's keep positive only 30 years till retirement. :-)

Well, since I started casually a few days ago im still just partly through the first book.

I still just dont know what to read after that. Its been long since ive done much casual reading in any way... its mostly been factual stuff like chemistry and IT.

What a bunch of intellectuals!

I'm working my way through Bujold's Vorkosigan saga because it was always out there, pestering me, making me feel guilty that I hadn't finished it. Before that I read Stross's "Halting State", which is typically dense and entertaining Stross stuff about a bank robbery in an MMO...

Intellectual cause I read books? Awesome. Do join my cult to give me more praise. smiley: smile

Reading Mech 3 of the Emperium series by BV Larson on the Kindle. It's what made me look for a space strategy game to play and what brought me here.

I've been reading some of the 40k books, Dan Abbot probably has the best ones, highly recommended. Currently reading hunger games in anticipation for the movie (and cause I've been told to read it by everyone)

I am currently working through my extensive Sci-Fi collection of books. I am currently working on the X-Wing series, looking for the Game of Thrones, and trying to get a new power cord for my kindle. I'l look at that "Fairy Tale" book you'r talking about.
