How to get the game to run faster?

The video card is probably going to be the problem, as it takes a 256mb video card; by far this is the most demanding requirement for the whole game.

where do i find my system specs, last time i checked it looked like everything was fine, and the game doesn't crash

If it is a windows; Start > right-click computer and choose properties.

I still havent found them, i don't see anything labeled just "computer"

my computer is from 2002 and has windows xp service package 3, has 1.25 gigs of ram. but i dont see my graphics card there

That card is definitely not fast enough to play this game.

Edit: Just a suggestion for mokaiba, you would get more performance if you turned your page file off, you have more then enough ram.
