Sophon large ships remind me of Stargates Ori. horatio's with globes at tail remind me of a B5 race - forget name off top of my head...

he is right like i said i have accounts so that should tell yea some thing as well.

I like them all, but I like the Sophon/Pilgrim round ships the least.

Despite that, I think the ship design in the game is absolutely spectacular; better than most games. I mean, reading the comments, it seems like people don't even understand how other races are so popular, and they all defend their own favorite race. The fact that they're all so different and we all have such strong and varied stances show that the design work is above and beyond what most games do, even games with fewer races and ship types.

The birds ships of the Hissho are the most awesome looking. Beside the very appealing ship models just take a look at the details of the textures. Astonishing.



I'm surprised so many vote for the Terrans ships. I find the design boring and unimaginative. The textures are good but the ship models. UGH! At least it makes fun raging war against them, knowing every ship I blast out of space helps to beautify the universe. 3

Horatio dreadnoughts are probably the closest to "symmetrical" as they're going to get.

To me, they tie with sophons for first because they have awesome appearance, and definitely the most original and unique ship designs I've ever seen. I the only reason I don't play as them because I like using the amoeba affinity.

Can't wait for affinities and ships to no longer be bound.

Any one else get a feel that some weapons just dont belong on some races ships just for the way it looks? Like the Sophons ships just look plan weird with kinetic , but look right at home with lasers, while UE ships look odd with lasers but just right with kinetic .

I also love the particle effect they have when the battle cam zooms in on them. I like to imagine they're swarms of Cravers flying around the ship and using it as a gravity well they they're basically just "riding the wave" on as they venture towards the next planet to consume.

I don't know why so many people dislike the Hissho ships. I think they are the best looking, especially how drab the rest kinda are. To be fair the Sowers aren't so drab, they're just super shiny. And the Sophons are a pure pale gross whiteness that kinda feels like big lumps of plaster. Although, that isn't to say I dislike their ships. The ones I dislike are the Horatio. So bananaish, like they are some big banana peel that start to bristle with short rectangles once you start outfitting them with guns that look like small hairs. And the big yellow part is like an egg.
