Why not having some unique planets in the galaxy.

When you explore the galaxy, you find some system and the planet always have the name "system I", "system II", and blablabla...

The idea would be when you colonize one this planet, time to times, you find a unique planet. The name change to the old name of this planet and some special bonus/malus show up.



"System IV" become after colonizing : Heketar. Center of all the Endless research laboratories, it would take years to find what all the underground tunnel and rooms has to offer to you... if you understand what it is offered.



One or two planets like this could be put in the galxy randomly and once a player discovered one, all the player could have an event message warning them.



This idea can also be implemented with others already proposed by other players :



A one with special research or event discovered on special planets.



A one to make these planets maybe more difficult to find.

This has been added to the summary list under Gameplay > General > Unique Planets/Anomalies - Add unique planets/anomalies to the galaxy

I like this. It would be interesting to find more traces (rare traces, of course) of the Endless than just random Virtual/Concrete Artifacts, and the occasional temple on the moons. And it would be a good way to get that Endless Hero people who pre-ordered the Emperor Edition of the game get: find one of these planets, and you find your Hero in a stasis pod of some kind.

Basically yes. Super-anomalies like "historical planets".



They even could start a contest about it. Write the story of a unique planet.

So basically super anomalies that can't be detected form orbit?
