Hello,

I try to launch the game with this in option -force-d3d11. The game works fine.

Edit:

The game start with the video but I don't have good graphic. For example the menu page, the spaceships in background are black.

Could you tell me witch command can I use to launch the game ? -force-d3d11 and -force-opengl (works fine, but the game crash when I quit Endless space) work but I want to try another command.

Hey so I don't know what happened but I had an update from steam, I changed the program to run in Windows 8 Compatibility mode, and used only the steam startup command -force.

Now its working for me. hope everything works out.

I am having the same problem and yes I am forcing it directly through the Nvidia control panel.

Planets and ships are just black voids.

Had this same problem! Happened when I switch the resolution to 1920x1080. Running the cache check on Steam and then setting the compatibility to Windows 7 (no other settings) fixed it right up. Game is running on a Alienware Echo 13, GTX 960M, latest Nvidia release drivers, under Win10 1511.

Just for your information, my boss give me a new laptop, with a better graphic card to play game.

Now I Have a Asus ROG G551JW with an GTX 960. Always on Windows 10 1511. I have the same issue with the game.

It's not a big issue for me, I have a big computer in my house, the laptop is for my job and I play with it in the hostel when I need.

So I can start new game in my house and continue the game in the laptop without any issue.

All video are missing. It is not a big issue for me, it is just in my laptop for my job, and I play on it when I'm in Hostel.

I my house, I've got a big computer and not issue with the game so it's good.

So I can start new game in my house, before playing in the laptop if I need.

If it's just the starting videos missing, it's no big deal and you're not missing out on much. If the faction's starting videos are missing too, it's a bit more annoying, but these are easily available on YouTube.

Yes, I already try that with no success.

With -force-d3d11, vidéo works fine but planet and spaceship don't have any graphics, just black screen for Spaceship or planets.

To resume, in standard use, with Nvidia card, No vidéo but the game works fine. With -force-d3d11 vidéo works fine but I don't see graphics correctly(no spaceship, no planet just a black hole).

If I set the game with Intel graphics, all works fine (except the performance).

Can you try forcing the Nvidia card instead of the integrated chipset in your laptop, which might be the issue?

Hello!

When i try to run the game with the Geforce 950M i get the black screen after ctrl+alt+del no videos just sound and purple background. When i run the game with integrated graphics (Intel HD 4600) the game is fine (not smooth but no issues like with 950M)

Here the output log: output_log.txt

I tried the game with the driver Windows installs, tried with the latest from nvidia, and tried with driver downloaded from the laptop manufacturer's support page. Every time i did a clean install.

The laptop is Asus X550JX

Please look into it.

Yes but the game doesn't start in compatibility mode.

I do a clean installation of the Nvidia driver and it is the same.

Hello,

I have the same issue with an asus X550JK, windows 10 ver 1511 and a Geforce 950M.

When I launch the game, I have a black screen. Then I do a Ctrl+alt+Supp, the game start but instead of video, I have Pink screen (but I have the sound works fine).

When I run the video in windowed mode, video works fine.

With Endless Legend, all works fine.

Yes, your advice didn`t help. Fortunately I have this trouble only with introduce and factions movies but in other things it is actually good. So if i need in movies I can run game without GeForce graphics and it will be work. I hope that ES 2 will not have the same problem.
