One side of the revolutionists seeks to turn the entire UE into a communistic (ie. Soviet Union) style of government, with everything being controlled by a single leader

That isn't communism, but its what Stalin (not even a russian) made the USSR into.

But the two different revolutionists idea is very good smiley: biggrin

I will not argue, there have been many instances of unique and interesting communistic societies that were unfortunately tainted by Lenin and Stalin's version of the same theory, and the USA's US OR THEM mentality. It's the one the USSR turned into that I want to see this fictional group striving for though.

I wasn't saying that they would be UE supporters, but more they wouldn't be entirely in the UUR for the democracy, peace and love.

Revolution ha taken over as a wave, and not all of the people on either side are really fighting it for either of the original sides.

Thus why I proposed the original second rebellion, when the supporters of the UE are not taking their chance now that the UE's eyes (And forces) are indisposed at the present time. Its power grabbing time.

And they don't, but micromanaging the governorship of hundreds of star systems, hundreds of planets and everything in between would be difficult for a computer to do.

So sometimes you have to delegate, and not all of the delegates are trustworthy in hindsight.

Sorry, I was referring to the Terrorist attacks on UUR page on the wikia. XD

It's amazing how accurate that is, in game and in life

And here we thought the empire was bad, the alternative could be worse. Better to stick with the devil you know right?

Haha, yea that's true

Haha wow, this is becoming slightly our ways of showing and expressing our own points of views :P (philosophically)

Well, Lenin wasn't that bad, Leon Trotsky was trying to continue his stuff before getting run out by Stalin, and it was a lot better than what Stalin had made it into. The proof of that is in Animal Farm (book written, or at least finished, in 1945 by an Englishman (born in India if it makes a difference :P) who was an ex-supporter of the USSR)

Supreme Commander Zukrov: Head of the coalition for the New Human Authority (NHA), the group striving for Totalitarian rule.

I don't have a leader as yet, but the other "party" would be the Human Consolidation Collective (HCC), a version of communism that sees the people of each planet all giving their ships, wealth, and production to the state, each system being controlled by a Collective Overseer that ensures the people are compliant and working for the greater good of humanity.

We just need a leader, and if anyone has a more coherent idea for the second group don't hesitate to add anything.

It's interesting how I was just discussing that with a friend, how on his death bed Lenin demanded that Stalin not be allowed to take over the country, but he did anyway and corrupted what Lenin put in place and Leon was trying to continue.

Feel free to change the name by the way.

And considering that the UE is made up of hundreds of star systems (100-999), who says we only need 2 rebelling groups?

Oh no doubt there will be just as many groups out there attempting the same thing at the beginning, I'm just thinking that at the end of the day these two will be seen as the greatest of them all and the successors to the Empire. We could have tons of splinter systems with their own mentalities that break off in the confusion, but for now we need to solidify the big ones.

Yeah don't worry about the names, the second one in particular needs some work, even though I would like to include the word "collective" in the title. I like the idea of the Human Authority however smiley: biggrin.

I'm going to have my neutrality of Boshen inspire several mega corporations to join together and create their own private army to fight against the UE as well, in order to create a Free Enterprise empire smiley: biggrin Not bad me, not bad.
