Hey everybody!
The year is coming to a close, and looking back at it, this has been quite the eventful year for Amplitude Studios.
We released two more expansions for Endless Space 2, Penumbra and Awakening, which introduced espionage in the form of hacking and gave the Academy a bigger role to play. We also released one last expansion for Endless Legend, Symbiosis, adding the Mykara and the mighty Urkans. A big thank you to NGD Studios for working with us on these expansions.
We have also revealed our next game at GamesCom this year, Humankind! We were excited to finally share this with you, as this is the game the original members of Amplitude dreamt off when they founded the studio, and we were thrilled by the wave of excitement (dare we say “hype”) that followed our perhaps slightly unconventional trailer. Just last week at the Game Awards, we released another trailer showing the Avatar system for Humankind. I don’t know about you, but I am excited to (re)write history playing as myself.
