Cool... I love statistics. True is, that I choose Zhou and I played with them to early modern era and then I played with Ming and finished game with China... With my games I accumulated ca 200-300 stars? It is possible, but not fun. I played only to gain stars

The goal was almost impossible.

Amplitude promoted a dlc about africans, in the meantime they ask us to get tons of stars by playing chinease. The AI aren't really cooperative and pick what they want.

The number of stars that we can get on a single game is ridiculous so 1million if just to big enough...

It looked like we were running out of time to complete all the missions, but at least we got the first two prizes. 

In fact, as a Chinese player and a historian, I'm tempted to point out that there are some obvious problems with Wang Zhenyi's character design. As said in the event, Wang Zhenyi lived in the 18th century, in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. Women's clothing at that time was not as radical as it was in the Tang or Song dynasties. Rather, it is a loose,conservative style that is influenced by Manchurian clothing styles. The image of Wang Zhenyi designed in the incident is wearing clothes similar to the Tang Dynasty style, and the pattern design of the lace of the coat is the style of the Qin and Han Dynasties or even earlier. Of course I like this design, but if the design can be closer to history, I think I and most Chinese players will be happier.

I am grateful for the Lunar New Year event in HUMANKIND. Of course, if possible, I would prefer other cultures that have also used the Chinese lunar calendar to participate in this event, such as Vietnam, Korea and Japan.

Finally, thanks to all the players who have worked together, although we have not achieved all our goals this time, we have at least gained something. See you next time.

Very sad that we will not be able to enjoy the new character because the goal was too high.

One of the main issues is that only 3 cultures provided stars and when you play with 10 machines, many times you cannot even select them.

In-game, there is only the Announcement ; the Event section in-game were used in the previous individual event, but not for this communautary event (something that could be improved). There is nothing to do to participate, and the progress is only tracked here in the Humankind section of G2G.

I've been playing. Just unlocked the achievement for winning with Zhou from start to Mars. 

I'd love to get that avatar unlocked but it looks like we'll run out of time.

Well I woke up and tried to play, but guess what, after reinstalling I can't get my persona up synced. Also the community screen says there is actually no event up, which is unnecesarilly confusing.

Last patch breaking a bunch of mods are the last nail in the coffin for this imo. We need stuff like era star thresholds in the game settings so that a whole list of mods isn't necessary to make the game playable.

Just play the game as the factions mentioned. Play Zhou until you can unlock one of the other two and go for fame run instead of rushing to the next eras to contribute the most stars possible.

They announced a double-counting stars week-end on Twitter (but it was only visible inside the video, so not immediately knowable nor accessible).

Last week-end when stars also counted double, we managed to get back on track for the million.

Just one tip, since Lunar New Year is not only observed in China, Korea also celebrate it, both currently and historically, why not count Joseon towards the goal as well. And arguably Edo Japan also celebrate it.
