I am going to assume (and hopefully be correct) that they game will have game speed similar to the CIV franchise. If so, I can not stress enough how much I want a "Historic" game speed with normal production times and such but very long research and civic times. As is the tech outclasses your ability to build stuff you have unlocked greatly.

The other amplitude 4x IPs, endless legend and endless space, both have had game speed settings akin to civilization. I too like to play in a much slower technology trickled pace and assume it will be an option in the future. Everything does move a bit too fast if this is the normal game flow I will say as well.

Yeah. I am making improvements every other turn on 3 different cities but still not enough to keep up with tech.

Tech needs to be more expensive (not about game speed). Right now, i don't ever use research building/quarter, rarely put my people on research, and the tech is still too fast.

Yeah I have zero tech improvements or quarters and and blazing through tech. 

I went for a tech rush and cleared the entire tree by turn 100
