It seems that in war, when you don't want to attack a city directly, you can attack the hex of the former outpost in one of its territories (is there a name for this hex), ransack it, and add it to one of your own cities. Pretty neat mechanic, but one I never suspected existed.
This greatly increases the vulnerabilities to be covered in war. Do these hexes get the benefits of walls in the parent city? They don't seem to be defended by any type of citizen militia.
Second, is it possible to raze a city that one has acquired via war, either during the war or afterwards? Perhaps, if the conqueror chooses, the city could lose one pop a turn until retaken?
