I admire all 4X Games especially those based on our own history. I have bought Humankind on steam, though I have certain questions and ideas in my mind, Instead of scouring for answers by reading many post and feeds, I have decided to directly post them here, (Please don't mind if I have questions or suggestions that are already been asked or specified, your reply is much appreciated. Debates and discussions are most welcome.)
1. Will we be able to conquer the world, since there is no victory by domination, there might not be any necessity for global domination but is it still a possibility? (hypothetically we all want to conquer the world.)
2. Are Maps Procedurally generated and how may maps are there?
3. Do we still have famous people being born?

4. I was wondering if this game could incorporate ancient mythologies from all the given cultures in the game to discover and link to a certain or multiple origins of humankind, just as we shape and create our own civilisation, we also could explore different possible origins and relate to one, which could become the basis of the forming Religion. (keeping it as scientific and logical as possible yet bit more exciting.) This changing religion will ask players to decide their belief and origin of humankind i.e. the idea of Divine.
For example:
- Powerful beings from another planet as hierarchy of gods. (they genetically engineered us - thus their discoveries increases knowledge and more advancement.)
- Associating different force as gods. (out of fear and at the mercy of their power - thus increasing productivity and favorability.)
- An Almighty God. ( overthrowing monarchy and agents for direct connection to divine - thus dawn of new era and inventions. )
- Consciousness and harmony with the universe ( Acknowledgement and Inward search for divine - thus could provide extra turns)
- Proof of divine ( Research and assemble different possibilities, thus could provide temporary boost in different aspects. )
1.really depend of balance but i think on easy difficulty should be doable, personnaly id like thats its impossible to directly control the whole world, and that you need to exert your influence (id have liked a bit more subtle things but currently we have vassals) because it feels more plausible and its boring to manage the whole world

3. indeed Famous people are a civ mechanic thats not present in HK
4. maybe some events talking about that idk, we do have a doctrine where you can chose wether you are entitled to your land by divine right or by right of being the stronger
I don't completely disagree with the point on managing the whole world, you have to be that smart and full of will to do so, not every ones cup of tea, ain't it? but I like the possibility and thrill of conquering not necessarily only by might but by love and compassion perhaps and utopian democracy or globalisation so to say, I understand its far from plausible in reality yet but this is a video game, it should be able to simulate 'what if', otherwise what's the difference...
I understand why there cant be no famous people, but there were discoveries and inventions made by certain individuals, that had shaped humankind, In fact , those discoveries and inventions have been an integral part of Human progress. So the question remains, how the discoveries and inventions are implemented in the game ?
I would like to read more on the doctrine system of this game and to what extend does it impacts the game?

Specifically on your first point (and leaving aside the player's will to conquer the whole world), in Lucy OpenDev, there was a Competitive Deed called "Continental Rise" :
There was another one about Cultural influence, called "A Cultured Land", but it only applied to one continent :
In any case, spreading your cultural influence around your neighbors (of course, not only on your starting continent) would trigger some "Osmosis Events" that would "force" them to change their Civics according to your own choices. The same goes for spreading your religion around the world : it would trigger some events (and related Civics).
