Hello everyone! I’ve been wondering if they’ll eventually be an earth map, I thought it might be pretty cool to play as a country on earth. Just cause of the real geography and all. I felt like it’d be pretty cool to play as America, Europe, or China, on earth. I’m pretty curious and If it’s not added to the game currently I do hope the devs might add it later? Thank you everyone

Will not be accurate, obviously, but it would be fun in any case.

The Devs. gave a response over here:

Which reads:
" We've seen this request many times. There will be support for custom maps, but that probably won't be ready for release, and we also can't promise we'll have the time to prepare an earth map ourselves (as we want to focus on delivering a great core game experience first.)

"True start locations", on the other hand won't work with Humankind, because you don't pick your culture before the game, but only after several turns. Everybody starts as a neolithic tribe."
