I don't think I've ever had to ransack an outpost twice though. That sounds like a glitch, as well as the money earned thing staying up after the ransack was successful.

Maybe I got interrupted and didn't notice it. It will be really handy if your army can continue ransacking after a battle and a hotkey to be added for it (it's annoying to click every time).
Also I think now I understand what the tooltip means although it's a bit confusing - it's basically notifying me that the tile WAS ransacked and how much I got from it, my first impressions were that I need to do something additional to collect the award.
