Hey guys! I've truly enjoyed what the Amplitude team has done with the contemporary era cultures. However there is one thing that keeps jumping out at me. While all these cultures are some of the larger groups that influenced history in major ways across the past century or so. I feel there is a lot of room to explore smaller cultures that have survived across time and multiple eras.
Cultures that have flourished and survived despite the world around them changing. Humankind, provides an amazing vehicle to celebrate these cultures and perhaps introduce many people to these smaller cultural groups. Cultures that come to mind are: The Berber and Tuareg peoples of North Africa, the Masai of Kenya, the Himba of Namibia, the Wayuu of Colombia and Northern South America. Highlighting the beauty of our cultural diversity is a powerful tool Humankind is able to wield.
On a side note, I've heard that the Inca are already being considered for an upcoming DLC, I would encourage the team to also look at Chibcha/Muisca peoples of South America as well. All in all there are a number of ethnic and cultural groups worthy of inclusion.
I look forward to what the Amplitude team has in store, and hope to see this platform grow and become a place where we can marvel at the amazing diversity the peoples of the world have to show, now and through history.
