Once You Go HUMANKIND You Don't Go Back

Feedback for Amplitude:

Having spent some time with HUMANKIND during the Closed Beta (which I didn't really get to do for the Victor OpenDev) I really got to appreciate the depth and design of gameplay. I have to say it's hard going back to Civ VI :)

If there are any qualms about shipping in Aug, I plead with Amplitude (and parent Sega) to ship it.

I only encountered one glaring bug (unit ghosting) and some missing tags/texts. That's all. Any rebalance that may be required can be provided in a patch/update.

In comparison, Firaxis have been patching Civ VI for the better part of half a decade.

I know Amplitude is not Firaxis but please do ignore those voices that say delay shipping of the game.

I for one am completely hooked. And am now suffering mild HUMANKIND withdrawal :)

As a counterpoint, please do not ship the game if you feel it is unfinished or not ready - we had too much of that in the industry lately.

Please take your time I had problems with battles and troops just disappearing leaving the blue hexagon only in one battle I had 4 troops but only 2 hexagons for them so 3 troops on one hex could not move or fight  please fix all the problems first then release

I think they have pushed back the release date a couple times already, at some point it is going to have to be released and just patched.  I have heard so many people saying "how wonderful amplitude is for pushing back the release date to perfect the product" however at some point this will have to stop.  If Apple pushed back the release date of the iPhone until the product was perfected we still wouldn't have an iPhone 10 years later.

Just patch the product as things become apparent, this is so silly, this is not a life changing cure for cancer it's a game for entertainment, at some point you just have to release it and make changes after that, otherwise might as well scrap the entire program

I have really enjoyed being a part of the forums and the Beta access and Open Dev's and such.  I have never been so excited to be a small part of a brand new game being launched, well a part meaning reading other peoples feedback and such.

Thank you so much for this experience, this is my last week alive so unfortunately  I won't get to play the finished game in august but I did enjoy the Closed Beta and participating in the forums :)
