Today's addition of the "Persona's" section on the website is an awesome way to gain or share avatars, especially for someone who doesn't add a lot of Steam friends. It seems to be organized well, with search functions and avatar traits all visible. I'll be downloading some of the game developer and admin avatars to start for sure.

Also for people upset they missed out on the streamers avatars during the beta, some of them seem to be included here already as well.

Only 24 hours left until release, and looking forward to this new section of the website filling out!

I heard @MahaloBay 's persona is fairly easy to beat, so if you want to learn the game smoothly he can be a good starting opponent.

Very wrong. It seems to me to have beaten @Sobert avatar in 2 rounds.

Welp, seems like as soon as map editor is out, certain two people need to be put on a small island together to duke it out.

Nah, we are okay, he admitted in private that my persona is stronger.

My persona has been designed to be under the "Expert" threshold, if you want to fight medium personae :)

This is slowly turning into box of puppies at the shelter, each wanting to be picked up. Carry on, please.

Is there a list of what all the abilities do? I'd love to include them, but I have no idea what the biases, strengths, and archetypes do.

Archetype affect AI behaviour, for example Loyal AI wont break treaties and Extravert will be eager to have diplomatic relations. Its either neutral, or one of the 2 opposites (so there is also Treaterous or Introvert)

Strength are buffs, there vary in effect and strength, ranging from yields bonuses to militray perks and a few others

Bias are preferences that affect AI too, but more like some kind off obssession/playstylel, like Prideful making your Avater refusing demands, or Vauban making you AI like to build defenses

would be cool if we had real historical personas. Stalin, Ghandi, Bismarck, Napoleon, Hitler, Washington, etc.

with custom map could make scenario of WW1, f.e.

Aren't toese low-key in-game already? From what I've seen AIs are created after historical personas by default.

MasterPaw, if a category is left blank, will the AI randomly fill it out. For example your avatar Archtype is empty so would it end up being a mix of any of the behaviors? Or would the AI just play a sort of base behavior, not being too loyal/treaterous or intro/extroverted?

For archetype i think it remains neutral, you can only chose up to 3 archetypes, while there are 8 axies

For str,enghts and biases i think it leaves it blank if you dont fill it

From what I recall, it become then the base behavior.

If you create an avatar and upload it can you later change it completely and upload again? Will it overwrite the first one?

Also, can we add an avatar we uploaded as part of our collection would allow us to play against them?

Yes if you change your avatar it will update on the website. For adding your own, it's something we have locked up, but can easily unlock if people want that.

I only see some of the previously twitch drops enabled avatars in the "global section", but not all of them. Does this mean the concept of twitch drops will be removed ?

In addition to the twitch question can we select “random” for any opponents so we’re not who we are facing, or perhaps not know everyone.

My friend was excited about this game and I grew interested in its 1. culture evolution 2. avatar system. Only now did I find out about this "one avatar per player, avatar is player" thing. And that is hurting my vibe towards the game. I enjoy roleplaying determining playstyle for that match.

I suppose the short way of describing my desire with the avatar system, is that I do not want avatars, I want characters. Give me 50 slots or whatever to fill with characters. Characters I make, characters my friends make, one can be "myself" and share my username, others can be my friends' selves, some can be recreations of existence pop-culture/historical characters (you know how people are). Not editing other people's created characters/avatars is fine; even if it locks their difficultly as that difficultly was decided based on their personality and playstyle. I also want to note that this already exists with preset avatar sets such as Poe and Lucy.

As for right now for the single avatar, good to know that I can "change it completely". Gonna be annoying seeing my username on an original character who is also a girl. Or maybe I'll just play a Poe.
