Anyway, as the title states, i'm unable to find any option to turn off the profanity filter. I'm on the Game Pass version - a friend, who's using Steam, doesn't seem to have it enabled, weirdly. Not the biggest of issues obviously, but it does affect enjoyment of multiplayer games.

I am on Steam and as far as I can tell, there is no Profanity filter in the game itself. You might want to check Xbox's/Microsoft's settings as it should be part of them.

Also there is almost no profanity in the game itself from what I have seen so far.

That seems like a game pass thing. If you want to shout the gamer word at your multiplayer lobby, you can in the steam version as far as I can tell.
