After I encountered a bug with a fight (I couldn't finish the round in the fight after every one of my soldiers was moved / attacked, the end round button didn't do anything anymore) I tried to reload the save.

The game tried to load but a few seconds later a error message popped up for a second and then I was kicked back to main menu.

Restarting and reinstalling the game hasn't proved to be a solution.

Reloading any save game seems to yield the same result: Error message, kick back to main menu.

Can't reproduce the steps ingame, because I would need to be ingame first...

Attachments: Two save files (one while encountering the bug and one a round prior to that) + screenshot of the error message.

So far the game has been working fine, played two games up to round 200 without any major issues.

Looking forward to some help, so I can play some more this week :)

I have had similar problem, I believe, just without the error message - after I restarted the PC the saves worked fine for some reason. I know that you've said that you did restart and even reinstalled the game but I guess it's a hit or miss with the restarting.

Hit or miss sounds very promising :D Thanks for the feedback anyway, I'll just try it again.

Update from right now: Not working after a night's rest.

Can't even start a new game without the same error message....
