So its my first run and I win a science victory and I get around 10 achievements, after I won I went to the main menu and changed my avatar and persona while I do that my game crashes. I log back on and I see that I lost about one hundred turns of progress (i've manually saved multiple times and have auto saves on) and the game that I won didn't count since it reset my progression by a hour or two. Since my game thinks that im still on turn 287 even though I was originally at 350, I lost about 10 achievements or more. All my progression gone reduced to atoms :(
