It isn't noticeable right at the start but after an hour or 2 it sometimes begins to faintly crackle, after 8 hours it's just constantly happening and kinda driving me crazy.

Can verify this as I have had the same problem from time to time. Seems to happen when you are in a heavy battle (20+ units).
