I just wanted to report the issues I have come across so far.

First, the Affinity button sometimes doesn't open the tool tip, or the hover selection makes it rough to get it to appear. (Doesn't seem to matter if the icon is selectable or not.) The Affinity itself shows the tool tip, but the selector button doesn't always, making it hard to see the details of its ability.

Second, occasionally units just disappear and remain invisible even after multiple reloads. Also, quick loading leaves large swaths of land as grey and undetailed until something updates those tiles.

Third, the little people, and trains and vehicles, the background detail when zoomed in, sometimes flickers very strobe like, or doesn't render/load at all for many turns at a time. Reloading seems to fix them not being their, but the flickering happens no matter what.

Fourth, Nukes/Cruise missiles don't appear to work as intended. So, cruise missiles allow a launch when not in combat, but only on units. Which doesn't make sense, they should be able to be used to demolish cover/walls during a battle or prior to a battle as well. This is a suggestion as well as reporting that they don't work all the time. The Nukes don't seem to be allowed to be launched at all for me. I tried everything, it doesn't matter if a target is present or not. This leads into the next issue.

Fifth, understanding that maybe the nukes cannot be used until M.A.D mutually assured destruction has been selected, it seems that I cannot tell someone that I wish to drop to M.A.D. from open war. I have tried everything, not even reloading allows this.

Sixth, forcing a surrender doesn't allow you to CANCEL and continue the war. This forces you to accept surrender, even when your war score is low, meaning you cannot take anything from the enemy, and are left where you started before the war (minus your war score). This is completely broken and needs to be fixed. You need to be able to tell them either A no, I wish to continue the war and take more targets and warscore, or B allow the A.I. to surrender and go into negative warscore with you to avoid conflict. e.g. give up a city or two in order to buy peace from you for x amount of turns. (Needs to be fixed badly).

Seventh, When the aircraft carrier enters into a battle, the airsupport is not available, this doesn't make sense as planes should be able to take off during battle. I know it is a support unit and meant to be kept out of battle. But if it is being escorted by ships and they attack the whole group of ships, your aircraft carrier is dragged into the battle, meaning the planes should too. I also think the ship mechanics on the battlefield are odd, see I understand you have to limit the battle field a little to work with the ships, and line of sight is important, than ships should move slower so that the ranged ships have the advantage of shooting or widen ranged ships zone of control to give them the shot advantage as melee ships approach, or make all ships ranged. It just doesn't make sense that my ship should be holding fire on an enemy that is approaching unstealthed to attack my ship.

Eighth, if you start on the HCE calendar and then switch mid game to the Gregorian it messes up the time really badly. I am currently on turn 615 (slow paced game), and it says 6271 BCE. Uhh, Doesn't sound right haha. *Update - I am on Slow speed, turn 225 says 6760BCE, I think the calendar thing is just broken. RIP

Sidenote - Some form of map or other alert system would be cool. Like if a unit trespasses it snaps to them, or a sentry option for units to notify you when enemies are near. Something to help bring you back to your empire a little easier. Right now I have to click the city drop down and then the magnify glass, it just gets irritating.

I have played roughly 70 hours since release, have gamed over 20 years, and play turn based games like Civ, and real time strategy games on the regular. I have to say, though there are some broken (buggy) aspects to Humankind, it has been really fun and is a really great game. I hope my criticism and suggestions are received well, and I look forward to playing more as the game is fixed.

To reiterate, I love the game so far! Thank you.
