I'm wondering if there will be a way to mod resource density, like how you can do abundant resources in civ. I personally don't want tons of strat resources, makes trade important however I just played a map gen with 0 oil so I didn't get to play with tanks and planes at all.
Yes, resource density is moddable. However, the issue you're mentioning has already been addressed by the developer. They posted the changelog for their latest patch HERE, and it includes an update to oil and uranium spawning to reduce the risk that not enough is on the board.
