For the second time already I am confronted with the game breaking "Turn Pending"-Bug. You can regocnize it by the "End Turn"-button bein unusable, showing this kind of circle and its tool tip reads the name giving "Turn Pending".

When this bug happens, the game seem as if its calculating the turn for AI or whatever and no actions are possible. not even notifications can be marked as read.

It will never leave the status of "Turn Pending", essentialy making the match/savegame unplayable. Reloading the game does not work around the bug, not even a couple turns earlier.

The second time the bug occured to me one of the notifications just told me one of the AIs advanced into the next era, so this might be a trigger for the bug to happen. Perhaps the game is simply overwhelmed and some back end process freezes itself.

Taking a quick look into the search for "turn pending" shows that other ppl are having this game breaking bug and I plead the Devs to take a good look at the problem and fix it.

Okay I'm glad I'm not the only one. This is very frustrating. When playing the game, it hangs on "Turn Pending" and waited for like 10 minutes and nothing happens.

1. Decided to just quit the game and reload it

2. As the game proceeds, it goes back to "Turn Pending" again!

No matter how much you reload it back, you will encounter the "Turn Pending" bug through out your game play.

I'M NOT PLAYING ANYMORE TILL THIS IS FIX AND ASKING FOR A REFUND!

I believe I found a work around to the bug.

it seems you can make a save of the moment the "Turn Pending"-Bug occurs to you and when you reload it should continue the game.

if that doesnt immediately help, also try saving your savegame, then restart the game or even your whole PC, before you load the savegame.

Can verify this. Had the dreaded turn pending bug and thought I was playing Endless Space 2 again! Hit ESC, then saved game. Reloaded the save and was able to continue playing the game.

Yes, you can reload the stalled game while the "Turn Pending" is displayed. BUT, you may not progress with scoring and learning and have to keep loading the NEXT turn pending. It is frustrating this isn't in the "Known Bugs" listing so we know it is being looked at. My ONLY solution is to keep replaying the last known good "auto-save" and keep playing differently, usually NOT taking over a city, or whatever... but eventually it will still not advance more than a turn or two and I have to just give up.

dont use the autosaves. they dont fix the bug. its also way too tedious to find the good autosave.

just make a save yourself and reload it and/or restart the whole game or computer.
