Description

The purple AI does own a coffee ressource and build hanging gardens on it. I explored new world and claimed several territories with further coffee ressources. In contrary to what I expected I was able to build my own coffee luxury manufactory which should not be possible as the hanging gardens basically acts as a early luxury factory.

Expected Behavior

Description and behaviour of the luxury manufactory indicates its uniqueness, e.g. only one player/ai can build such a thing on  a specific type of luxus ressource. The hanging gardens, while available earlier, have the exact same effect and should block that specific manufactory the same way.

So that's how the Gardens work ? I always wondered why it was such a bad wonder.

I mean there's no mention at all of that effect in the game as far as I can tell, and the only place I find it is the fandom wiki, but they have some errors here and there so I wouldn't necessarily trust it. I mean, the Gardens page says "However, the player still need to control more than half of the said luxury." while the Luxury Manufacture one mentions "the Hanging Gardens of Babylon doesn't have any technology or Luxury deposit ownership requirements" (could only mean to build it, not to get the effect, but that's not clear).

If the gardens really work like a luxury manufacture, then I think it's probably intended that they give you the benefits without owning at least half the deposits and that they also don't block anyone meeting the proper requirements to build the luxury manufacture of that resource. But that's only my opinion of course.
