I pre-ordered the deluxe version of Humankind back in October 2020, but cannot access either the pre-order or the deluxe edition content add-ons in the game. Both the pre-order and deluxe add-ons are listed under Content Management, but I cannot activate them since they're not installed. I'm not seeing them anywhere on Steam - no DLC tab under Properties, where I'd normally go to download add-on content. Steam confirms I own the Deluxe edition, but there's no way to install that additional content. I also confirmed I do own the poster and soundtrack in my computer files, just cannot access the in-game content.

I connected to G2G, I refreshed my account link, restarted Steam, even uninstalled and re-installed the game. Still cannot access the content or even find where to install it.

I am running it on Mac 10.15 Catalina, I'm not sure if that's causing anything. The rest of the game works fine, just missing that add-on content. I at first assumed it was because I was on the Mac beta, but now I'm playing on the live version and it is working fully, but I still do not have access to the content.

Attaching screenshot of the Deluxe edition page in steam that says I own that version of the game. I do have screenshots of the in-game of the errors on the add-on content screen, but it won't allow me to attach them here for some reason. The screen does say though "Cannot be done as this content is not installed." Just really want to get access to the unique personality, avatar, decals, Notre Dame etc.

I have the same issue. During Mac beta, I didn’t think it was a problem, but now that the beta is finished, I still can not access the DLC. When the game was first released, the DLC did indeed work on Windows Steam via Bootcamp, but still out of luck on the Mac OS.

I believe this has been the case since the release of the Mac version in November.

Looks like it could be a Mac issue then. I’m missing that DLC tab that’s appearing for Ansive, there’s just no section for it at all in my preferences.

Yeah I'm on mac and I can't get the preorder (july!) nor the deluxe dlc either- i'm synced and everything. This whole process makes me never want to pre order again. Can't even begin to expect we get to try the event either. For the people who don't understand- we dont have a dlc option at all.

the same happened to me and when I contacted sega support they didn't now what was the problem and finally they only told me to search for answers in steam forums

I also don't see the DLC tab in Steam... interestingly, I am pretty sure that I had the Notre Dame wonder at some point and then it went away... might have happened when switching off the Beta, though not sure

I just want to put another voice of frustration out there. I am having the same problem and have had zero communication from the Sega Support team in over a month. This is embarrassing coming from such a large studio. I was hoping this would be fixed with the latest patch, but that is two major patches now that have completely ignored customers who were excited enough about their game to pre-order. I know Mac users are a minority and I understand (and often expect) delays getting games and content working on a new OS, but this screams laziness to me. How hard can it be to get your files properly uploaded to Steam? Or to provide users an alternate method to download the content in the meantime? If I can get avatars from G2G and mods from Mods.io, why can I not get official content I purchased from the studio? If a dev sees this, this has me pretty put off Amplitude and I'm very close to just requesting a full refund and waiting for Old World! End rant.

I also reached out to Sega Support about this issue and they suggested I make this post on the Bug Reports forum. Still no official word about why this is happening though - I hope they’re not just giving us the runaround on this one :(

Same exact issue here. Pre-ordered mac version. Pre-order and deluxe content don't show up even thought I clearly own it. Steam says I own it....and yet, still prompts me to upgrade to deluxe, and there isn't even a DLC tab under the game's properties. Can someone at Amplitude please help us get the content we paid for?
