The same. I've gone back to Civ6. My friend and I can play a marathon session of Civ6 without any issues. Humankind will guaranteed crash before you hit the mideval era. Also to get rid of the graphic issues you have to play at the lower graphical settings. The devs never respond or acknowledge any issues with macOS, no timelines or anything. So I gave up playing this game. It is a real shame because I waited for a year and was so excited for it. I played Endless Space 2 and Endless Legend ... but this game was a major disappointment.

And today - I noticed they updated on Steam. Download and patched. Jump into game -- nada. Same crap.

I'd like to throw in my request to the devs to please address this issue. It's a longstanding bug that prevents manual combat:

I've had to return my recent purchase of the Heritage Collection, because the play experience was so poor on MacOS.

I want to support Amplitude and have purchased every Endless Strategy game up to this point. If the devs could at least release some timeline for native M1 build of Humankind, it would greatly restore my faith in this title. Thank you.

They added M1 and M2 beta compatibility in mid December. Did you try since then? Some other users which play on M1 didn't have this issue anymore.
