"Access Denied" Multiplayer screen then game shut's down

Same here, cannot get rid of this and after a while in the menus the game is crashing... it used to be working perfectly well before.

tried to update windows, drivers, and the XBox Get-AppXPackage as well without any success.


I am using gamepass for my family access and bought myself a copy on Epic that i m using and that is working. Whereas gamepass does not allow us to play at all now, we played in the past quite a lot without any noticeable issue.

It's still their problem friend, if it's affecting their game it's inherently still their issue. 

But that aside personally I'm not bothered that there isn't a fix yet, I'm bothered that there is no communication for this issue it's just aggravating to feel like the company doesn't hear you screaming into the void.

 I have the same problem also on game pass, in the Multi-player screen it says “Access Denied” and if I try to enter multiple times game crashes, but before it crashed once I manage to enter to friends lobby number to direct connect and it said lobby is no longer open and tried multiple times to open a game lobby but it said there issue with my internet connection ( there is not) but once it opened the lobby but then game froze and crashed,

My friend has the game in Steam and it works fine there so I also think there is issue with Xbox’s end hope it’s fixed soon or at least we could informed about problem.

Firstly, thank you all for the report. We're investigating what is causing this issue. Hopefully we can deliver a fix soon.

Secondly, we're sorry for the late reply. As Groo pointed out, the majority of Amplitude staff get the weekend off, which unfortunately means that we are not always able to reply quickly if issues are reported late in the week, but that does not mean these reports are going unseen.

Any news on when we can expect multiplayer to be accessible? I can't speak for others but I mostly play online with friends who have the product elsewhere and it's blown having to sit on the sidelines for the last few days and watch them play.

Most viewed open issue on bug reports.

Most replied to open post on bug reports.

Paints a picture of this being a much wider spread problem.


It's now been 5 days and it's still not fixed, That's all. I will see you all again tomorrow.

Do we need to update the game in Microsoft Store?
