I'm fighting Tjilbruke, who has a the traitor badge, which I understand should make him more susceptible to losing war support from loses, but he is completely supercharged! My wins against him are firing back against me twofold, despite him losing more, stronger units. Is it intended for me to lose substantially more war support for units defeats by a traitor, and for him to gain substantially more war support for being a traitor while defeating me? If so, declaring a surprise war is a much stronger option, despite losing additional support per turn from it being a surprise war. (Note on the screenshots: The current war is a "legitimate" one. He's a traitor from his last war with me, and still packing a wallop)
In my game I noticed the same issue. In my case I have 3 level traitor badge and for one lost unit I get - 2 war support but when I destroy enemy unit the war support increases of 6 war support.
In this example I have lost 8 units and the opponent only 6. The difference is huge. Is it intendent? On the other hand the description is wrong of the traitor badge. I have not seen any change in the war support when ransacking enemy district.
