  • Title: Units getting stuck/not moving after loading an autosave [PC/Steam, v1.0.19]
  • Description: When playing single player against AI, Around the end of the Classical era, I demanded a territory not realizing it was a city and ended up exceeding my city cap as 4/3. I went to reload the previous autosave, however when I did so, there was no "end turn" button, it stated I needed to finish moving my units. When clicking, it did not focus my map on any units. I manually went through all my units (4 groups) and two had used up their movement via autoexplore, and 2 were set to "wait". I attempted to move the ones that were waiting to see if it helped, however when I clicked to move them, their movement points would be used, but they would not move anywhere. I was unable to proceed. I reloaded the autosave again and had the same issue. I attempted to reload an older autosave, and unfortunately, despite it being a different turn, the same issue occurred. Telling any units to move results in all their movement points being used up, but they would not physically move anywhere, and I would be unable to end my turn because "i need to finish moving units".
This does not appear to happen every time, as earlier in the game around turn 100, when I reloaded an autosave, I did not have this issue.
  • Attachments: Temporary Files Movement.zip
  • Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Single player game // 2. Play game for a while // 3. Reload an autosave // 4. Sometimes you will be unable to move units and end your turn, despite units movement points being used when you attempt to move them.
  • Expected Behavior: You should be able to move your units and end your turn after doing so.

Hello!

In order for us to fully investigate this issue we need the following:

  • Your last two auto-saves, and any other saves you think may help show the problem. Your saves are by default located:
    1. PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Save Files
  • An output log. These can be found here:
    1. PC: This folder is hidden by default. You will need to reveal hidden folders (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files-0320fe58-0117-fd59-6851-9b7f9840fdb2 ) then navigate to: Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\AMPLITUDE Studios\Humankind

Thank you for taking the time to write this report! ^^

Happy holidays :)
