[mac/Steam v1.0.23.3840] Background of title screen and in game map does not render

Have Humankind Premium bundle. After I start the game up on steam, the game can startup fine and can load a save fine, but the background on the title screen and the map within a game is not rendered (or is covered over). I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling, but it did not fix anything.

Hey,


thanks for your report. Can you confirm if you are not using Rosetta? We've had problems in the past with that, but the game should now run natively on the M1 chips.

Ah, if only it had been so easy a fix...


In that case, can you provide us with your diagnostics files and player.log?


Diagnostic files: Found in \user\library\application support \ humankind \ Temporary Files. These files need to be compressed as a zip or rar file or the upload will fail! Located by default: 

Player.Log:  This is hidden in the Libraries folder. You will need to do an internet search to find specific steps for your OS. Once the libraries folder is revealed, they are in user/library/logs/amplitude studios/humankind
