I am playing the new Bonny update.

I do not believe the following is intended behavior (?), please correct me if I'm wrong.

Culture & religion seems to not spread across continents at all (except if you own territory on a foreign continent). In the playthrough from the images I am trading extensively with the purple empire. No culture spread whatsoever, nor does any other empire spread their culture across continents.

My civics, I do not believe I have any civic to prevent foreign culture spread:
