I play only single player games, so no connection to others.
Humankind somehow keeps terminating my LAN connection during a game. After usually around 15-30 minutes of play (sometimes longer, sometimes shorter), the game suddenly starts to lag for several seconds, goes on, lags again, goes on... etc. Also the music will freeze, making strange noises.
I found out that this obviously occurs as soon as my ethernet connection is somehow gone, so my whole computer loses connectivity. I usually then switch to my windows desktop during the game, open the network center and restart the ethernet adapter. Mostly this works and I can play on until the game kills my connection again after some time. Sometimes also the restarting of the adapter won't take me back online, then I need to reboot my PC.
I'm playing via Steam. This error ONLY occurs when playing Humankind, no other game will produce this. I have a very stable 100MBit connection. Any ideas? Can I somehow force Humankind to be offline during a game?
Cheers, Marcus
