There's a weird bug with the George Sand Beta and modding. If we import the Era definition files, EVEN IF WE DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING IN IT, the transcendance bonuses break and revert to only +10% fame.
This is a symptom of a deeper bug within the code that may cause other unseen problems.
The amazing Shakee found the fix. You need to enable the beta preview for the mod tools as well to fix it. So this bug report can be closed without any worries.
