On Xbox game pass too. Crash at launch, a small loading appear with :"unity 2020..." at the middle of this loading, just all crash. I delete my temp and everything about the beta on steam. But still not working after 3 or 4 reinstalation

Hey, I've already deleted this folder. It reappears on startup even after a reinstall, this doesn't seem to be the issue.

Hey, me too, same problem after the Sega lunchvideo, it's blocked at 90% on the loading, not on the beta Edition and files in documents deleted (i have reinstall direct X and reboot my computer, verify the game cache, delet, reinstall the game, run as admin) I Wanna play please help me !!! :)
I7 9700K, RTX 3060, 16 GB RAM.

I have the same issue heavysetmojo has, the loading bar gets just to the left of the thumb and then stays there forever, deleting the Humankind folder as suggested by Miouyeou did not change this behavior.

This resolved my CTD issue.

I have an issue where it crashed on start up, doesn't get to the video yet  Diagnostics (2021'08'18 @1816'54''356''').html

I have the same issue. Purchased through Epic Store.

1. I have deleted the Close Beta file in Documents
2. Verified install
3. Set Administrator to Epic Store, tried the HumanKind exe but that cause another crash so reverted.
4. Updated driver, C++ and DirectX.
5. Turned off Geforce Experience overlay, this got me futher into the launch, strangly to where I see a single frame counter in top left and the game mouse icon then craches again.

I have purchased it on Epic Store, yet my Geforce Experience, says it is the epic games install location, but wants to launch through steam when I try launch there.

I am having the same issue, I'm not sure if this needed but in the two files where you said to go(player and player-prev). All of the assert, enable log, debug, enable profiler, and enable trace are set to false. On every single version

Do you have an anti-virus running, and does it put anything in quarantine when you launch Humankind?
