How can I keep max graphic settings without AA? Max is 8xAA which is a bit too much. I am playing 4k, making 8xaa overkill.

What are the pixel light sources that appear in the settings as well?

Critical Error when starting a new game. 6 years ago

After I bought and installed the newest DLC, I couldn't start a new game. It would always show a critical error message. I'm not using any mods, I verified game cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, made sure the app is allowed through my windows firewall, deleted registry.xml, running the game as an admin, and even uninstalled and reinstalled steam. Nothing is working. I see a few other posts of this similar issue with no actual answer given on how to fix this game breaking issue. Someone please help.

Hi,

As title says, playing ES2 since EA and just realized I don't know exactly how buyout prices are calculated, just that they're not 1 industry = 1 dust.

Any clue about this?

And related to the previous, any clue how UE "emperor's will" influece buyout costs are calculated?

MODs Combination Compatibility/Order Notification or Reminder 6 years ago

Greetings.

I just would like to know if Is it possible to discern which mods are compatible/not compatible to avoid encountering errors, hooked load screen. Can ther be a compatability icon/reminder/notification or something of the sort as you tick mods at the mod selection screen found on main menu screen, that guides any preferred mod in an order that both compatible and less stable unlike previously before?

This is on the notion that various similar mods, say a trait mods may not be compatible with each other as previously assumed, or other mods are different but have negative effect. I have recently noticed the mod combinations that I've used previously now get me stuck in loading screen for hours until game crashes or indefinitely loading, its as if they are no longer capable with each other.

Forgive me I'm not an expert in mod creation, I can only assume how arduous it must be to make and design one. I only mean to point out an suggestive idea.

I appreciate any feedback on this.

when I try to save it it won't let me in an auto saving it it's not doing it automatically either

A Critical Error happened while starting the game 6 years ago

It said that the game can not begin and a critical error has happened.

I've already tried to restart the whole game,

reinstall the whole game,

having DLCs reinstalled.

And I am not using any mods in the game, all of the content is official.

Anyone can help me?

I really love ES2 but this problem is pushing me away, and I didn't find any useful solution on the Internet till now.

Which name for which Sophons in the triumvirate ? 6 years ago

Hi, 

I've got just a tiny lore question about the Sophon's triumvirate.

We know their names (Keuytha, Ziawawuid and Leumac), their specific functions but ... Who's who ? 

According to the official wiki I would assume that it's, from left to right : Ziawawuid, Leumac and then Keuytha. Ziawawuid being the female, Leumac the one who speaks to us in diplomacy in game and Keuytha the one with the cross-body bag, but I would like to be sure.

Hello,

since the Patch today the freezes some Windows every 1 or 2 Rounds. it looks like this:

if i try to open any menue it looks this way:

To leave the game i have to use ALT+F4 or the task-manager.

How can i fix it?
