I found out thanks to Steam, I bought it thanks to the alpha gaming live on jeuxvideo.com and because, of course, I liked what I saw + the awesome concept of the voting system + the final price which encouraged me to buy the emperor edition instead of the regular one! Every game devs should copy the model!

I saw it on steam for the first time but I really considered buying it after seeing the Rock Paper Shotgun article. Then I looked it up and saw just how sexy this game is. I cannot wait for the full release.

My purchase decision went something like this:



** Steam Popup opens



Me: Hmm... Space? Ships?

My Mind: **Shiiiiny!**



Me: Ok, what is this? Turn-based?

My Mind: **Gotta +1 this to my cart NOW!**



Me: Nice video on the site, and with different offers..

My Mind: **Ooh... Different purchase options? Bling bling!**



Me: /googles Endless Space and find an 1.2 hour video

Me: Unpack Video? Nice!

My Mind: **WTF.. _WHY_ have we not gotten bling bling yet! Push that purchase button, baby!**



Me: Hmm... have this nagging feeling I will love this game.

My Mind: **Complete Purchase! Run to Library! Download speed GO**



Me: /download complete and 6 hour play session later

Me: Ok.. I'm hooked!

Actually, I was for a long time following the development of "gemini wars", but I ended up not quite liking what I saw, for example that you couldn't build up an empire etc.

By accident I then stumbled over "endless space" on steam and simply immediately liked what I saw!
