Amplitude recommends you vote for three factions to ensure you votes have maximum influnce on the result. You can, however, vote for up to ten factions.

I will hate myself for this in a few minutes, but if you could take your time to vote for number 75 the Hyrrsbane, well... quite simply, i would be in your debt

Eh, it seems to be working, at least you have quiet a good bit of votes.

I should have posted my idea sooner and not take few days writing it x-x; Now its in middle of poll and doesn't get noticed by anyone... And for some reason everyone I ask about my idea seems to like the idea enough, but it certainly isn't getting noticed...

Hmm, methinks that because I don't know a lot of people in the video game world, I will not win.

Nos already has 10 votes? Your idea was good, but not *that* good.

Anyway, I think I'm just going to forget about this. I think my idea is the best, obviously, but I don't think anyone knows who I am or what my faction really consists of because I'm not well known.

Ah well.

Man, this poll is a mess...the dev should have done bracket vote instead...in this case, group factions in 10 each, vote each bracket..then 2 top of each will be put into a list and another vote begins...

Having 100 choice is a pain, because you have to read through every one of them....or the vote just go in the first or the last ones...

I hate to bring this up, but could some of those descriptions be modified a little since they appear to be the same as Nos posted them originally. For example, my Cievers have a lot in common with The Nereides, but in my bio it says "cities on water tiles", and in Veronica's bio it says "settlement on land or water". I feel this as unfair, since we both have "settlement has to be found on land, but you are able to expand to water".

There's so many good ones! I had to vote for 10, just too good to not vote for. >.< If I had to choose one best.. I don't know! I really like the lore idea of the sowers, but factions with winter effects and/or ones with one city sound really really fun to play smiley: smile

No matter who wins, I really hope that idea for amphibious cities gets in there regardless!

Hi Onyhow, nice to see you here smiley: smile You should make that a suggestion in this section though. Make a new thread for it and maybe devs remember this for next poll.

1) you can't do subliminal advertising if it is completely invisible unless selected, so you can practice all you want with this, but it won't increased the said skills.

2) On the other hand, you'd better not keep practicing this as long as you want since, after all, spam is spam - be it by a bot or person.smiley: stickouttongue

The funny thing is that if we are extremely lucky, we could get a faction with cities in the ocean.

This. It doesn't seem fair. I'm not a big fan of the way this is playing out.

I don't think I'll participate in this sort of thing in the future. Is not setup well and doesn't seem to give us all a fair shake.

I will be annoyed if devs at the end say "Nope, there winners are too big in scope/against rules, let's cut them down, the one with next most votes wins" smiley: stickouttongue

Eh, I wouldn't be that negative. I mean, at least devs seem to be listening so maybe next time they will use 10 bracket voting or instant runoff voting. Though admittedly, they should have thought about it before this poll when they noticed that numbers were over 50 <_<;

I'm simply suggesting that the fact that it's the first one is the reason it's getting votes and I don't think that's a far fetched idea.

Nor do I think that the current set up is remotely fair.

Anyway, I think I'm just going to forget about this. I think my idea is the best, obviously, but I don't think anyone knows who I am or what my faction really consists of because I'm not well known.

Ah well.
I don't think it's only about how well known you are. Sure, it helps and I won't deny it, but there are also other reasons why you could be doing well or not.

For example, Nos's entry is the very first one so he's extremely likely that people will actually read his idea. And because it's good, and there are 98 more entries, some may simply want to stop there and vote for Nos (btw Nos, I'm NOT implying that your idea is bad or anything, I'm actually thinking about voting for you myself).

Meanwhile, poor entries in the middle of the list are very easy to miss out on. I'm reading every single one but I'm already starting to feel a bit confused :s Making my final choices will be hard and, from a purely psychological standpoint, I'm probably more likely to pick factions near the end and start of the list. And Mesaima of course.

The funny thing is that if we are extremely lucky, we could get a faction with cities in the ocean.
You're assuming that it's actually doable and within EL's engine capabilities ^_^

Also, I think I will make my last attempt to convince you to vote for Mesaima. After that, I promise to stop advertising my faction. That's what politicians do when the election day is near, right?

Hmm, methinks that because I don't know a lot of people in the video game world, I will not win.

Nos already has 10 votes? Your idea was good, but not *that* good.

Hey, don't be so glum man. I am a complete nobody on this forum and my submission is in the top 6 rigt now.

Just relax. The vote doesn't end until the 14th, so there still plenty of time for people to notice and appreciate your proposal. smiley: smile
