Just relax. The vote doesn't end until the 14th, so there still plenty of time for people to notice and appreciate your proposal. smiley: smile

This. It doesn't seem fair. I'm not a big fan of the way this is playing out.

I don't think I'll participate in this sort of thing in the future. Is not setup well and doesn't seem to give us all a fair shake.

Agreed. The ones that are at the top or at the bottom of the list get a lot more visibility than the ones in the middle =/

The devs should have chosen the top ten doable and effective factions. Not based on anything other than what they can see being made and what they want to see.

I just wonder why they decided to put everything into one huge poll without checking them through at least. I mean, reading through all of them doesn't take that long time so someone should at least read them through to check whether they fit contest rules(someone already noticed one person had two ideas in poll). I mean, someone could have made Goombas from Mario as race and they'd probably be in the poll if nobody checked through it.

And even then, wouldn't having there be 10 bracket poll where we vote top one out of several brackets ending with us voting from top ten winners be better way to do it? That way people could divide their attention span to check ideas through better

As a Finn, I don't believe in boasting...

Oh, fine. Vote for number 34 if you want a diplomatic and science focused gameplay with an ability to expand cities over to sea tiles, with a taste of Maori culture. smiley: approval

Nah, don't worry about it.

1) What is done is done

2) Voting will never be 100% fair (not everyone reads everything, not everyone votes based on submissions, different listings will have different exposure etc etc)

3) Everyone would feel that some small detail could have made a difference

4) The important thing is that you allowed yourself to be creative.

All that we need is the developers changing the three winners and the final winner to fit the Endless universe, scope, lore and make sure it's not out of scope, silly or otherwise nonsense.

"A Rose by any other name..." as the saying goes.

I've been thinking the same for mine, but in a poll like this people are just as likely to vote for something that sounds different/unique/catchy as something not-so-much. At this point there's no real need to worry about what could've been done. Instead, just enjoy the ride. You never know, you could be surprised by a sudden influx of votes at the eleventh hour! ;p

You're assuming that it's actually doable and within EL's engine capabilities ^_^

I wonder if this will be a filter after this first round? Time will tell, I guess.

Vote for The Beckoning Pride! I promise they're different from the unreleased Roving Clans! I hope. I don't really know.

Wait, that was a terrible argument.

Edit: Oh, and the summary is a little incomplete. The beckoning pride can also buy heroes/mercenaries with luxury resources and speed up unit production with them.

Also, they can summon temporary minor faction armies with strategic resources, not luxury resources.

Also, they pay less for minor faction retrofits and upgrades.
