I think Endless Space is a fantastic game and the games2Gether initiative is awesome so I am sure you will not regret your decision to pre-purchase the game. I haven't! I wonder why GalCiv2 gets such a bad rap - I thought it was an excellent game that was very approachable and playable and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thanks all for your replies! I decided to buy the game. Eventhough I won't be able to play it for a few weeks I'll still feel content that I'm sponsering this game. It seems to be a blend of a lot of games that I like so I'm in! Seriously, MoO 2 has been mentioned so many times that I really should get on board.

Master of Orion 2 meets Sid Meier's Civilization series meets Battleforge.

Gal Civ 2 was a crappy rip off of MOO2 and Gal Civ did not even have tactical combat ( obviously a game for my 5 year old niece ).

I heard someone says that is similar to Star Trek : Bird of the Federation game and i play at Sins of a Solar Empire and it's nothing like that.
